Millions continue to mourn the death of singing legend Whitney Houston. Many Huntsville residents are expressing their sadness through Facebook posts, including numerous "RIP, Whitney" messages.
But the drama continues to unfold at the Beverly Hills Hilton where the 48-year-old was found dead Saturday. Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, reportedly made a second trip to a Los Angeles hospital Sunday morning when she was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center via ambulance. The 18-year-old reportedly made her first visit Saturday night, hours after her mother's death.
Brown's exact malady is not known, but sources of the celebrity site TMZ said she was "hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable."
Houston and her daughter, whom she had with ex-husband Bobby Brown, were among the celebrities in town for the Grammys and related festivities. The awards show will air Sunday night on CBS stations. In Huntsville, you will want to tune in to WHNT. Jennifer Hudson is slated to give a special tribute performance in Whitney's memory. Whitney presented Hudson with her first Grammy award in 2009.
An autopsy is expected to be conducted Sunday, but an exact cause of death won't be released until an official toxicology report is completed.
Police reports have indicated that Houston was found in the tub and that numerous prescription drug bottles, including one for Xanax, were found nearby. Houston had a long and public battle with substance abuse. Last year reports – and a damaging photo – surfaced indicating her daughter was using, as well; something Brown denied.
