Bobby-Kristina Brown would like her mother to be remembered well. However, Bobbi-Kristina’s grandmother feels the truth should be known. Cissy Houston, wrote “the tell all” book about her daughter’s life. For many people, reading the book would be informative; revealing insider information that would help them understand the late Whitney Houston.
Christie D'Zurilla, writer for the Los Angeles Times published today that Whitney’s daughter wants no part of the book, “Remembering Whitney.” She says it is disrespectful. “I know the truth, Bobby Brown’s daughter added, calling her grandmother "oblivious" and "out of line wrong."
"This is a book about a mother grappling with the loss of her child, still wondering if it could have been avoided had her daughter walked away from the pressures of fame or, more heartbreakingly, if she could have averted the disaster," the Los Angeles Times' Gerrick Kennedy said in a review of "Remembering Whitney."
The question remains is Cissy Houston losing her granddaughter as well? Bobbi-Kristina has been estranged from her grandmother for a while. Radar reported that Bobbi-Kristina was angry with her grandmother for, “filing legal docs requesting that the payment schedule to the 19-year-old be changed as they fear the teenager is under the “undue influence” of unsavory people.” The grandmother really does not care for the presence of her boyfriend in Bobbi-Kristina’s life.
According to Mail Online, “TMZ claim that sources close to Cissy say the 79-year-old fears Bobbi's own boyfriend Nick Gordon and father Bobby Brown are capable of 'draining Bobbi's fortune.” Cissy and granddaughter are not communicating with each other. Bobbi-Kristina has no communication with her father as well.
This book may truly be the last straw leaving Bobbi-Kristina alone in the world and Cissy Houston without her daughter and granddaughter. According to Mail Online, Cissy Houston is terrified granddaughter Bobbi-Kristina will suffer the same fate as Whitney and die young from drugs.”
