Bob Seger adds more 2013 spring tour dates

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band continue to expand their 2013 North American tour leg.

According to new listings posted yesterday at his tour page on Pollstar.com, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, who will perform a string of Canadian dates this month, has booked four new shows in April and May.

The “Old Time Rock and Roll" hitmaker has confirmed gigs including: April 25 in Charlotte, N.C. at Time Warner Cable Arena, April 27 in Raleigh, N.C. at PNC Arena, April 30 in Norfolk, Va. at Norfolk Scope Arena and May 2 in University Park, Pa. at Bryce Jordan Center.

Tickets for all shows go on sale Sat., March 9 with presales starting Thurs., March 7.

Last week, the 67-year old Michigan native also announced four new shows, including a second show in his hometown of Detroit on April 13 at The Palace of Auburn Hills, which will feature a special appearance by Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh.

The Canadian Rock and Roll Never Forgets tour leg kicks off on March 13 in Winnipeg, MB at MTS Centre and wraps up March 27 in Vancouver, BC at Rogers Arena.

Did you know? Bob Seger’s tour opener in Toledo last week included the introduction of a new song titled “All The Roads,” a medium-tempo number, which featuring the veteran rocker seated center stage on acoustic guitar.
