The brain, cancer and the German New Medicine
Most of us have heard of Bob Novak the journalist, and we've all heard about brain cancer but we haven't heard much about something incredibly important and significant: one of the foremost doctors and cancer scientists of our time, Dr. Hamer.
Dr. Hamer’s research is a breakthrough and a solution to the horrific paradigm we are strapped with that says the body is a battle-ground that separates humans from nature. Our current militaristic medical model completely negates that, in fact, human beings are inexorably intertwined and at one with nature and all of creation.
We have killer cells and invading microbes, chemical warfare, radioactive weapons poised expensively at ourselves and against a disease. Dr. Hamer was able to prove that illness is actually a meaningful interplay between the brain, the psyche and the body. He says instead that disease is not a mistake of nature to be attacked, but a natural progression related to a biological, emotional, mental conflict to be held in compassion and understood.
Disease origin in the brain
Dr. Hamer worked in a cancer clinic and analyzed thousands of CT scans. What he discovered was that shortly after someone experienced an unexpected life shock that they felt completely helpless to do anything about, a visible lesion with sharp concentric rings shows up on the brain scan.
He likened this completely logical progression to an over 'ampage' in the system - kind of like a circuit breaker getting tripped. The affected brain cells then communicate to the related organ or system telling it to shut down. Separation conflicts, self-devaluations conflicts, identity or territorial conflicts that are threatening our survival are connected to specific brain relays.
The German New Medicine, as Dr. Hamer calls it, offers a scientific system explaining the cause, development and natural healing processes. Not only is it a new paradigm in medicine but a new awareness of consciousness itself, uncovering the remarkable creativity and self-healing powers our body possesses; if understood correctly.
Dr. Hamer's findings show that what we have previously thought of as malfunctions of the body are indeed significant programs of nature. By coming face to face with the meaning of the conflict, we can support the process of healing honorably instead of attacking and fearing it. The basis and beauty of the work is to bring understanding of how to support the body when it's been hurt instead of hurting if further.
While living in Italy treating the poor for free in his clinic, Dr. Hamer's son was accidentally shot and died in his arms. Months later Dr. Hamer was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He knew that his cancer was directly related to his son's death. This realization and years of subsequent study led to his extraordinary scientific journey where he was able to prove with dedicated research, there is nothing to fear but fear and modern medicine itself.
"I finally had to ask myself whether our understanding and our concept of disease had not been entirely wrong because of our ignorance of the biological purpose of disease."
Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer

Having survived a melanoma tumor the size of a plum, I can attest to the power of looking at disease as a message of where to put our attention, and an opportunity for healing.I believe that cancer often has to do with unacknowledged and/or expressed anger. As a primary emotion, anger's function is to protect our sense of self, our autonomy. When we don't speak up for our "self", that energy turns inward and can become a kind of "no!" to who we are, rather than "no!" to that which threatens it.
Joie, so well said. It's a phenomena I see as a medical intuitive all the time. We have inherited some ancient mechanism inside the brain and cells that turn against the life force as a protective mechanism. It really should be studied.
