Bob Dylan track to be included on new 'True Blood' soundtrack, DVD

The soundtrack for the second season of True Blood  will include the Bob Dylan track, "Beyond Here Lies Nothin' ".  It was the title song of the twelfth and final episode, and was played under the closing credits. The show was originally broadcast last September. Here's the blurb:

Elektra Records and HBO have joined forces once again for True Blood: Music From The HBO Original Series, Volume 2. The album follows last year's Grammy Award nominated True Blood: Music From The HBO Original Series, which featured tracks from the acclaimed drama's first season, including the sultry theme song "Bad Things," performed by Jace Everett. Volume Two follows suit with an all-star track list including Bob Dylan, Beck, Lucinda Williams with Elvis Costello, and more.

"Beyond Here Lies Nothin' " was originally released on last year's number one album, Together Through Life. It is also one of the many Dylan tracks in the new film, My Own Love Song. The music  seems to be based on the Otis Rush / Willie Dixon song, "All Your Love". Here's a cover version by John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, featuring Eric Clapton:

The street date is May 25, one day after Bob Dylan's 69th birthday. The DVD box set of season two will be released the same day from HBO Home Video. Season three debuts on June 13.
