If the winter blues are starting to set in, change your focus with a visit to the San Antonio Boat and Travel Trailer Show.

This weekend event will be held from Jan. 23-26th at the Alamodome and admission tickets are affordable enough so that the whole family can attend. Adult tickets are $8 and there is a military discount offered with $3 off. Plus you can find an online coupon for $2 off the admission (see the link above). And parking is free. To get ahead of the crowd, you can purchase admission tickets online and check the show hours. Past shows have had attendance of close to 12,000.

The list of the area boat and RV dealers includes: Boerne Marine, Crestview RV Superstore, Master Marine and Sail & Ski Center.

Some of the exhibitors that are participating include: Austin Canoe & Kayak, Texas Ski Ranch, River City Deck and Patio and Lake LBJ Dock Services.

To get "warmed up" for the show, check the video link featuring the Miami Boat show, one of the largest boat shows in the world.

So do a little warm weather dreaming and happy new year to all.
