On March 6 TV Equals reports that Ron Livingston, best known for his role in the hit movie "The Office" will be joining the cast of "Boardwalk Empire" for its fourth season that is set to air again sometime this fall. Currently, the season is still in production.
Livingston will be playing a wealthy out-of-town business man named Roy Phillips that has caught the eye of Gillian Darmody, played by Gretchen Mol. Whether or not this means that the two meet in Gillian's brothel hasn't been disclosed.
This is not the first period drama of this era that Livingston has played in. He also had a permanent role in the mini-series "Band of Brothers" that was about World War II-- roughly the same time period as "Boardwalk Empire."
Fans are excited that their favorite HBO period drama is headed back to the air soon. While there is no exact air date, it is likely that it will begin in the end of August, beginning of September as all the seasons before it have.
