Just one week after Ron Livingston was cast for Roy Phillips on the upcoming season of "Boardwalk Empire," Vulture reports on March 7 that Jeffrey Wright will also be joining the cast as a series regular this season.
This will be the first full series performance on television for Jeffrey Wright as he has mostly done movies such as "The Hunger Games: Catch Fire," and several others over his 20 years in show business. Reports claim that Wright is excited to be trying something new.
Jeffrey will play Valentin Narcisse, the man who runs Harlem. He also goes by several other titles, but the most important one is the boss in charge. Wright's character will likely play closely alongside Nucky Thompson, played by Steve Buscemi as he is running liquor all over Atlantic City, New York, and other connecting area.
Fans are excited to be getting a dose of their favorite old school gangsters. There is no set date as to when the hit period drama will be returning to HBO besides to say sometime in the fall.
