Bo Bice in Nashville

Bo's third album, 3, to be released on May 18
Bo's third album, 3, to be released on May 18

Tonight (Wednesday, March 31, at 9PM) at the Douglas Corner Cafe, Bo Bice will be playing with Daryl Burgess, Greg Crowe, and A.J. Masters. The show is in support of the Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival. Money earned from the festival goes toward the not-for-profit Nashville Songwriters Association International.

Bo Bice was the American Idol runner-up against Carrie Underwood in 2005. Since then, he's released two albums and is about to release a third. The album, 3, is set to be released on May 18.

"It's the kind of music I love -- a Jim Croce, James Taylor, John Prine kind of thing. I'm not trying to be anything on the album; it's just a different side of what I actually do and have been doing for years."

The CD was recorded with his co-producer, D. Scott Miller, and Steve Gorman, drummer of the Black Crowes. Also on the CD is A.J. Croce, Jim Croce's son, who plays keyboards on six of the album's ten tracks. According to Bo, he and A.J. became friends through American Idol.

If you'd like to pre-order a signed copy of the album for $14.99, you can click here. Who knows? You might even get it before May 18!

Also coming up in June, Bo will be having his 2nd Annual BB "Peeps" Party. The party includes a brunch, acoustic mini-concert, surprise souvenirs, Q&A's with Bo, silent auction, meet and greets, and more. The party will take place at Nashville's very own Limelight on Saturday, June 12. To purchase tickets to this event, click here.
