Blythe acquittal leads to Spring tour for Lamb of God

Back from perdition, vocalist Randy Blythe and the men of Lamb of God (LoG) announced that they would be hitting the road in May in a second round of support for their last release, “Resolution.” This time around, the band will be hitting 30 secondary markets that were not addressed in the first round of touring. Blythe was recently acquitted of manslaughter charged in the Czech republic over the death of fan at a Lamb of God show in 2010. At the end of June 2012, Blythe was arrested and formally charged with manslaughter, resulting in five weeks of retention in a Czech prison. Now, in March 2013, Blythe has been acquitted of all charges. So with their front man free to prowl the stage again, LoG is ready to hit the ground running!

The band announced on March 20, 2013 that they will be kicking off their secondary market tour on May 16, 2013 at The Orange Peel in Asheville, N.C. They will be joined in support by Decapitated for the duration of this tour with Terror for the first half and The Acacia Strain for the second. Terror will be fresh from a round of dates with Hatebreed (including a stop at Spartanburg, S.C.’s Ground Zero) by the time they meet up with LoG, but their devout fans will surely be glad to see them in alongside the long-time metal masters nonetheless.
