Carnivores unite. All week long beginning tomorrow January 27, Westwood’s Blvd. 16 is featuring a meat-lover's dream menu in honor of National Meat Week--a statewide holiday started in 2005 where people across the country gather over piles of BBQ. There's actually a captain in each city who creates the schedule of restaurants. Each city develops their own traditions, but the focus is usually on good ol' American BBQ: Pork, ribs, brisket, barbecued chicken, and anything else you can smoke and smother in sauce.
