An upper level low over the northeastern states will continue to provide cold and breezy weather, with more sunshine in valley locations. Some lingering lake effect and upslope snow showers will continue in favored areas, especially this morning. High pressure will then build into the region tonight into Friday with quieter weather and warmer temperatures. A developing coastal storm will continue to be monitored for the potential to bring accumulating snowfall to portions of the region this weekend.
