Blur, Phoenix, The Stone Roses to headline Coachella Music Festival

On Jan. 24 the official line-up for the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was announced, and headlining the festival this spring will be The Stone Roses, Blur, Phoenix, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The music festival is set to take place in Indio, Calif. at the Empire Polo Grounds from April 12 to April 14 and April 19 to April 21. Rap artists, rock bands, indie bands, and electronic music artists will perform at the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. On Friday, April 12 and 19 the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Passion Pit, Beach House, Of Monsters and Men, and more will be performing at the Empire Polo Grounds.

Performing on Saturday, April 13 and 20 will be The xx, the newly reunited The Postal Service, Hot Chip, Grizzly Bear, Franz Ferdinand, Benny Benassi, Moby, New Order, and more.

Performing on Sunday, April 14 and 21 will be Vampire Weekend, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Social Distortion, the Wu-Tang Clan, Pretty Lights, the Lumineers, The Gaslight Anthem, and more.

Passes for the festival go on sale beginning Tuesday, Jan. 29. For more information about Coachella visit the festival's official website here.
