On September 14, 2013, the Port Huron Pagan Temple will be hosting the Bluewater Pagan Conference http://directory.paganmichigan.net/events:bluewater-pagan-conference. This will be the organizations foray into community building, and a community partnership between them and several Metro Detroit groups.
The event is promising those who attend a day's worth of workshops, classes, and a ritual that are designed to enlighten, as well as engage. Local authors, clergy, and representatives from various groups will be there. The temple is hosting this event in accord with its aim to
"provide pagan services and community events within a positive environment; and to Provide a formal pagan education that will promote individual spiritual growth".

What can you expect from them at the conference?
- Presentations by Port Huron Pagan Community
- A joint roundtable presentation on community building, facilitated by representatives from Pagan Pride Day Detroit and the G.L.W.C. of Michigan
- A lecture on the Warrior Path by Reverend Nashan of Pagan Pathways Temple
- Classes by Author Shetan Noir
- Belly Dance Performance
- Workshop by Geralyn Mystic, life coach
- Warrior Ritual
The event will be held at Port Huron Township Memorial Park, 3344 Beach Rd, Port Huron Township, MI 48060. Opening is at 10:00 A.M. and the day ends at 7:00 P.M., with breaks throughout. Three pavilions will provide ample shelter and space for the various events, though the weather looks fine.
Representatives from Woodwolf Magi Covenant will be on hand, as well. This local organization exists to
"foster a sense of family amongst members by providing an atmosphere of acceptance and belonging through rites of brotherhood,celebrating seasonal, lunar and solar phases in a family stucture".
Information tables from various pagan organizations will be available for community resources.
