HORDE originators Blues Traveler are continuing to slowly unveil shows for spring and summer 2013 with the scheduling of a concert at the intimate 450-capacity Belly Up venue in Aspen, CO on Tuesday, July 2. Along with this show, Blues Traveler have also committed to appearances at three festivals later this year - Arizona Bike Week – Scottsdale, AZ 4/15/13, BottleRock Napa Valley Festival – Napa, CA 5/10/13 and Pittsburgh Pirates FanJam – Pittsburgh, PA 6/15/13.
It is interesting that Blues Traveler will be playing in Colorado right before the July 4 holiday - the band has headlined a July 4 show at Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Morrison, Colorado every year since 1999 and most likely this small theater performance will serve as a sort of a warm-up gig. The band’s most recent album of new studio material is Suzie Cracks the Whip, released in June 2012. A greatest hits collection, “Travelogue,” was released last November.
