Blues Traveler add Twin Cites tour stop

In celebration of their 25th Anniversary, Blues Traveler will embark on a major U.S. Tour With Barenaked Ladies, Cracker and Big Head Todd. The Grammy Award winning, platinum selling rock band have built up a considerable musical legacy based on their infectious, winning sound and their tireless love of touring resulting in a legion of loyal fans worldwide. Blues Traveler trademark sound to a new level witht heir new release SUZIE CRACKS THE WHIP which will be available on 429 Records June 26th.

Staying open to new ideas has resulted in a collaborative new project that's invigorated the band to a new high level. Member John Popper says "I love these guys like my family but after writing the same way with the same people for 25 years, it was good to find a new outlet and take a different approach. Likewise, S*A*M and Sluggo helped remind us about what was cool about Blues Traveler in the first place. It's easy to forget what's cool about yourself after so many years of being you."

The tour kicks off in Uncasville, CT on July 2nd with 25 dates across the country. The band will be visiting Minnesota on August 8th, performing at the Weesner Amphitheatre in Apple Valley. Tickets go onsale to the general public on April 30th via Ticketmaster.com
