Blues Singer Gina Sicilia to play Frederick

Blues songstress Gina Sicilia brings her soulful, beautiful voice to the Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick, Maryland on Thursday, March 7, 2013. She is billed as a legend in the making. The Weinberg will offer an intimate venue perfect to listening to Sicilia’s talented vocals. Tickets for the show are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the show which is a good deal considering the way Gina and her band sound!

The press has compared her voice to that of the soul divas of the 60s and her musical impact to Susan Tedeschi. More importantly the music community has recognized her talent. There is limited street parking. However, there is a parking garage located right behind the venue and another one just down Patrick Street from the venue. The show is scheduled to start at 7:30PM. If you come early there are several great restaurants to grab a meal before the show in downtown Frederick.
