Blues Brothers tribute act at General Butler

General Butler State Resort Park  in Carrollton has an unique way for couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day – “Blues Brothers Tribute Act: The Soul Men.”  This performance will take place on Saturday evening, February 11, 2012.

The Soul Men, with knuckle tattoos and black suits, impersonate Jake and Elwood to perfection.   ‘Elwood Blues’ with the briefcase chained to his wrist and ‘Joliet Jake’ wailing into the microphone, personify the Blues Brothers of film complete with trademark hats and dark sunglasses.  Their musical repertoire includes the songs made famous by the Blues Brothers: Soul Man, Hey Bartender, Rawhide, Everybody Needs Somebody, Rubber Biscuit, Sweet Home Chicago, Minnie the Moocher, and many more.  Their high energy, fast-paced routine will have the audience moving and dancing and having tons of fun.
