This season, Fairfield native J.J. Duke will be calling the play-by-play. Duke, who was a color commentator on Bluefish broadcasts last season, is a 2013 graduate of Ryder University where he was the student general manager of the university's student radio station, and was the radio play-by-play voice for Ryder's baseball and softball teams. When not calling Bluefish games, Duke covers soccer for Our Game Magazine, a publication dedicated to women's soccer.

“We are very excited to continue this partnership and allow Bluefish fans to listen live to all of our homes games,” says Bluefish general manager Ken Shepard. “WGCH has been a great partner and is a very reputable station and having our games on their AM signal will help us expand our presence in Southern Connecticut.”

All Bluefish broadcasts will begin 15 minutes prior to first pitch. The 2014 home opener will be on Wed., April 30 vs. the Sugarland (Tex.) Skeeters. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m. For more information, call 203-210-BLUE (2583) or visit
