Blue Rodeo will be reissuing their classic second studio album "Diamond Mine" on Record Store Day 2014 and has provided fans with their first glimpse of the package. The veteran Canuck roots rockers are making the album available as a limited edition double vinyl set to commemorate the event.

The 2012 Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees have posted a photo of the reissue package on April 17 at BlueRodeo.com. The shot displays the two LPs, which have been recorded on blue and green 180-gram vinyl, along with the inner and outer album cover artwork, jacket sleeves artwork and info booklet.

Originally released in 1989 and remastered in 2012, the multi-Juno winners' sophomore effort features 16 original songs, composed by band co-founders Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor along with several instrumental interludes by ex-keyboard player Bob Wiseman. As the follow up to their successful debut album "Outskirts," the release was a hit for band in Canada, reaching No. 2 on the Canadian RPM Country Albums charts and No. 4 on the Canadian RPM Top Albums.

We carried them from party to party, rec room to rec room, symbols of our hipness. It's funny, things haven't changed that much."
.
Co-frontman Jim Cuddy adds, "Record stores are so much more than just merchandise sellers. They are a social service. Like-minded people sharing their love and knowledge of music." Fans can check out a video of the band discussing their love of record collecting at RecordStoreDayCanada.com.
