Blue Rodeo continue to expand their 2014 summer tour schedule, adding dates across Canada. Touring in support of their latest studio album "In Our Nature," the veteran Canuck roots rockers have confirmed three new stops in both eastern and western provinces, which will include a couple of outdoor shows.

According to a news release posted April l6 at BlueRodeo.com, the 2012 Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees will perform June 6 in Sunderland, ON at Sunderland Arena. Pre-sales for the show are available now at Tour.BlueRodeo.com.

The multi-Juno winners will also play a couple of outdoor gigs on July 5 at Sun Peaks Village in Sun Peaks, BC as part of their summer concert series, as well as a headline slot on July 19 at Wild Mountain Music Festival in Hinton, AB. The Wild Mountain line up will also include Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downey's solo project with The Sadies, dubbed The Conquering Sun, along with Lee Harvey Osmond, Marco Calliari and Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra among others.

Earlier this week, the Toronto based country-rockers announced a return visit as part of the Calgary Stampede festivities with a show on July 7 in Calgary, AB at the Cowboys Stampede Tent. For details, pre-sales tickets or a full summer tour schedule, see Tour.BlueRodeo.com.

Blue Rodeo wrapped up the east coast leg of their winter Canadian tour in Montreal last month and were recently among the winners of the prestigious 2014 Governor General's Performing Arts Awards. The band has also been named the official ambassadors of Record Store Day 2014 in Canada, which is set for Sat., April 19 and will be reissuing their classic 1989 album "Diamond Mine" as a double LP on blue and green 180-gram vinyl to commemorate the event.
