Inspired by the true story of the Beltway snipers, "Blue Caprice" starring Isaiah Washington and Tequan Richmond investigates the notorious and horrific Beltway sniper attacks from the point of view of the two perpetrators, whose distorted father-son relationship facilitated their long and bloody journey across America.
Directed by Alexandre Moors from a script by R.F.I Porto, "Blue Caprice" employs lyrical camerawork, and a unique and bold structure to document the inner workings of its subjects while painting a riveting portrait of 21st-century America in its haunting depiction of the two cold-blooded killers.
The cast includes Tim Blake Nelson, Joey Lauren Adams, and Leo Fitzpatrick. The film premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival and is being distributed by IFC Films.
"Blue Caprice" opens in limited theatrical release on Sept. 13 and will be available On Demand and iTunes digital download on Sept. 17.
