Blue Bloods” once again mirrors their show story line direct from the headlines. Offering a look at the “Knockout Game,” fans get to see how this street crime effects the residents of New York. This is a Blue Bloods spoiler, so look away now if viewers don’t want to know details about the episode. According to the Los Angeles Times on Thursday, a pregnant woman is the latest victim of violent game-playing teenagers who have been punching unsuspecting people.

Usually punching people in the head in random acts of violence, Detective Danny Reagan and Detective Maria Baez are left looking for the teenagers who might be responsible for the act. The problem is that the arbitrary act is tough to predict and even tougher to identify a criminal. Looking to parallels in cases, the detectives find an unsuspecting lead.

Meanwhile it is Commissioner Frank Reagan (played by Tom Selleck) who wrestles with promoting an officer when he thinks it can be viewed as favoritism. A tough choice has to be made and it might be looked upon unfavorable. With little choice the New York City Commissioner who always follows his high standards to do the job well.

“Blue Bloods” is on CBS on Friday night staring at 10 p.m. ET.
