Blue Angels canceled: Upcoming flight shows canceled due to low performance

Blue Angels canceled has become a trending topic on major news search engines tonight after Upcoming Yahoo News reported this Friday, March 1, that The Blue Angels canceled their two upcoming scheduled performances in Millville this weekend because of “low maneuvers” during a performance last weekend.

A press release from the navy flight squadron revealed that The Blue Angels are set to stay in Pensecola for more training and practice instead of being featured as part of the aerial show at the Millville Wheels and Wings Air show set for this May 28 and May 29

“We’re very disappointed,” said Donna Vertolli of Design Advertising, the firm that handles all marketing of the Airshow. “But we’re confident that the event will be great fun regardless.”

Vertolli added that while The Blue Angels canceled is indeed a letdown, the Air show will not be canceled on the whole, however, with other groups at the event consisting of Red Eagle Airsports and U.S. Army Golden Knights, as well as demonstrations from the Coast Guard.

“It’s not good for us,” Vertolli said. “But if it’s a matter of safety, we don’t want any incidents at the Millville Airport. The total cost of the upcoming Millville Wheels and Wings Air show was about $300,000."

It certainly doesn't sound like something to miss.
