On Thursday March 13, several of those top designers headed over to Manhattan's east side to celebrate the launch of Bloomingdale's new contemporary women's department, The Collective. The event was held at Bloomingdale's 59th Street. Last month, these very designers showed their Fall 2014 collections at Lincoln Center.

The Collective is Bloomingdale's fashion director Brooke Jaffe's edit of 21 emerging and established labels, including designers like Cynthia Rowley, Trina Turk, Rebecca Minkoff, Rebecca Taylor, Ronny Kobo, and more.

Fashion insiders were treated to a night of Champagne, beauty touch-ups, and a sneak preview to what the Collective is. Guests were invited to get mini makeovers at Trina Turk and manicures at Milly while perusing the collection and listening to tunes by Hannah Bronfman, who ruled the DJ booth all night long in a matching long-sleeved red striped crop top and skirt. There was even a sketch artist on hand creating original art for attendees.

But the focus of the evening was when the designers presented their favorite looks from their collections as well as spring's biggest hits. Mara Hoffman, Nantette Lepore, Rebecca Minkoff, Cynthia Rowley, Trina Turk, and more were on hand for the event. Lepore's top spring look included a flower printed chiffon skirt paired with a midriff baring white sheet top while Uprichard presented a summery pink leaf printed frock complete with pockets and Minkoff showed a striped tailored mini.
