Everyone's favorite femme fatale dhampir returns to the gaming realm with the PC release of BloodRayne: Betrayal next week. WayForward's original console release is a vast departure from the series' normal third person hack and slash action, but wowed crowds with its unique art style and over-the-top violence.

Featuring 15 levels and beautifully rendered 2D animation reminiscent of the wonderful Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and its successors, this upcoming Steam release is sure to sate fans aching for another go-around in the BloodRayne carousel.

Unfortunately for series purists, there's not a single Nazi to be found in this particular BloodRayne iteration, but one can always hope that maybe someday we can return to the wholesome days where vampires and Nazis went hand in hand like Italian plumbers and reptiles.

Purchase BloodRayne: Betrayal on Steam here beginning April 30.
