It seems that the anime and manga fans who live in or around the DC area are once again in luck. It has recently been announced that the Washington DC Landmark E-Street Cinema is one of only 9 theatres in the US that will be showing the much anticipated live-action version of Blood: The Last Vampire.
Produced by Bill Kong (famous for Hero and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), the live-action adaption of Blood: The Last Vampire comes on the tail end of the hugely successful Blood: The Last Vampire video games, animated film, light novels, manga, and anime series adaption.
While the live-action adaption of Blood: The Last Vampire is rumored to stay fairly close to its anime, manga, and light novel predecessors, there are a few differences that fans might want to be aware of before seeing the live-action adaption of the film.
While DC’s Landmark E-Street Cinema hasn’t posted the show times it will have for Blood: The Last Vampire, it has been confirmed that Blood: The Last Vampire will be shown at the theatre on July 10th.
If you haven’t seen it already, you can check out the trailer for Blood: The Last Vampire below.
