A reality TV show about a group of young women living and striving in New York City is bound to feature some drama, especially if it's a Bravo reality show. In an interview with Jet Magazine, "Blood, Sweat & Heels" star Daisy Lewellyn, the show's resident style expert and author who likes to think of herself as a Oprah Winfrey in the making, revealed how things really are with her co-stars.
She revealed that out of Melyssa Ford, Brie Bythewood, Mica Hughes, Demetria Lucas, and Geneva S. Thomas, the only woman she didn't know prior to filming the show was Melyssa. Contrary to what people may think, the two get along well.
"I think at first people didn’t think we’d get a long because she’s a former video girl and I’m the 'Christian' girl, but we actually became very close friends," she said.
Daisy also had good things to say about Mica, who she said doesn't actually drink a lot, and Brie Bythewood, who she said she has been friends with for a while.
As for Geneva, Daisy pointed out that they "handle situations differently when discomfort is involved."
"I try to remain level headed without swearing," she explained.
The one person that Daisy has yet to have a good connection with is Demetria.
"I was disappointed to see her energy and kindness was a little low toward me. I don’t know if it was something personal or something beyond. I’m all about reconciliation. I think there is something else that she has not shared with me because for some reason she’s just not very nice to me," she said.
Fans of the show may be seeing the ladies, unless they get replaced of course, for another season. Ratings for the new show, which has the advantage of following "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," have climbed back up after seeing a decline after the premiere episode aired in early January.
"Blood, Sweat & Heels airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
