Blood drive for local man in need

See also

A routine life insurance health assessment a few weeks ago has turned into a life or death nightmare for Nicholas “Niko” Stewart, a 28-year-old Murrieta resident. This devoted father and a loving husband desperately needs our help.

On April 4, Niko was suddenly diagnosed with acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. To increase the odds of survival, his treatment requires blood transfusions. This event is also a search to find a matching bone marrow donor.

Help bring hope to Niko and his family by donating blood to Lifestream on April 23 and by registering with “Be The Match,” a national marrow donor program. By participating you will help Lifestream increase Niko’s chances of finding that one life-saving match.

When: Wednesday, April 23, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Temecula Community Recreation Center
30875 Rancho Vista Road, Murrieta

Contact Lori at (951) 551-3735 to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome.
All donors will receive a Chick-fil-A coupon and free cholesterol screening.

Please drink plenty of fluids before donating and bring a photo I.D. Individuals of age 15 or 16 will also need to bring a signed copy of the Lifestream parental consent form. Download the form at:
