Debbie Harry, Clem Burke and Chris Stein along with newer Blondie members Leigh Foxx, Tommy Kessler and Matt Katz-Bohen are touring in support of upcoming tenth studio album, Ghosts of Download featuring the single “A Rose by Any Name,” set for release in November.
To date Blondie has released nine studio albums – Blondie, Plastic Letters, Parallel Lines, Eat to the Beat, Autoamerican, The Hunter, No Exit, The Curse of Blondie, and Panic of Girls – and have sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. The band has had several hit singles over the years, most notably “Heart of Glass,” “One Way or Another,” “Call Me,” and “Rapture.” Blondie, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year.
Legendary Los Angeles punk band X will open the show with its original line-up: John Doe, Exene Cervenka, Billy Zoom and D.J. Bonebrake. X will release a vinyl 12” four-L.P. Limited Edition Collectors Box Set featuring Los Angeles, Wild Gift, Under the Big Black Sun and More Fun in the New World on September 3. Rolling Stone listed Los Angeles and Wild Gift among the 500 greatest albums of all time.
