On Monday February 14th, Lookbooks and FashionIndie held Blogger Break Room at their offices. The event served as a retreat for bloggers away from fashion week madness. Guests could get massages, manicures, facials, spray tans, makeup applications, and brow waxing. Red and white wines from the Italian Masters were being served as well as Pop Chips and cupcakes from Cupcakes and Compliments. Body jewelry by Louise Manna was also being displayed, and it was amazing to see how a variety of chains could be worn in different ways to complement a chic outfit. There was also a contest for the Best Dressed Blogger so many invitees took their picture to get their shot at this prestigious honor. What a great way to unwind!
Imagine Fashion held a launch party for its online short films at Bar Basque on Tuesday February 15th. The short films basically chronicle moments in the modeling world and they have a very art-house sort of finish. Industry insiders and fashionistas were in attendance at this fabulous party. Plenty of prosecco, watermelon martinis, and small bites were being passed around. Indeed, these two events were a smash during fashion week.
