Blog Indiana taking speaker submissions

Blog Indiana 2010, the local Blogging and Social Media Conference, is taking speaker submissions. The event will be held August 20-21, 2010, at the IU School of Informatics in Indianapolis. The conference is an opportunity for Indiana bloggers, social media experts, and businesses to get together for networking and education.

Those interested in speaking at the event need to complete an online submission in the areas of Publishing, Marketing/Business, Tech, or Niche. Sessions should last 50-60 minutes, including time for questions and answers. Submitted sessions are currently open for voting (a Twitter account is needed), but the final speaker decisions will be made based on both the public votes and the votes of the Blog Indiana staff.

Blog Indiana 2009 featured blogging and social media experts such as Chris Brogan, Jason Falls, Chris Baggott, and Brad Ward. According to their website, sessions included topics such as "blogging for beginners, using blogs in your business, monetizing your blog, [and] political blogging."
