Blockbuster Film a Rousing Success

On February 4, 2013 – Via an “all new” episode of “Conversations With Cogee”, presented a Celebrity Monday with the cast of the new movie "Let Clay Be Clay".

“Let Clay Be Clay” is a feature film by writer, director Darryl McCane and producing partner Michael Hawthorne. If you lost your child to murder and the case went cold, how long would you fight for justice?

“Let Clay Be Clay” shows what one grieving mother does after waiting 20-years, knowing that the killers of her daughter live in her Oakland, California neighborhood. It takes the lure of a fifty-thousand dollar reward with the promise of a better life for one and jail time for another to break a 20-year pack between the three murder suspects.

The soundtrack for the film includes original music from Steve Arrington (former lead vocalist for the hit group Slave), Frankie Kash Waddy (drummer and founding member of Bootsy's Rubberband), Blackbyrd McKnight of Parliament/Funkadelic, Jimi Dright from Digital Underground, and more.

Follow the film on social media and online (www.LetClayBeClay.com), as “Let Clay Be Clay” movie travels around the country to film festivals in 2013.
