Blizzcon tickets to go on sale this month

November may seem like a distant future, but ensuring your attendance is near reality. Blizzcon is coming. Time to stamp your entry.

Fresh off the StarCraft II World Championship Series for 2013 announcement, Blizzard Entertainment has now revealed ticket sale dates for the highly anticipated Blizzcon, which go live this month.

Wednesday, April 24th at 7pm PDT and Saturday, April 27th at 10am PDT mark the official sale dates, which can be made through the Blizzcon website or online Blizzard store. Prices for the two day event will run for $175 each. In addition to general admission, attendees can also purchase tickets - within limited number - to an exclusive pre-Blizzcon Benefit Dinner; that go on sale Wednesday, May 1st at 7pm PDT.

The latter tickets will cost $500, with proceeds benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Furthermore, guest of the pre-Blizzcon dinner can meet and dialogue with game developers, executives, and other Blizzard miracle workers before the show.

If that weren’t enough, in case you’re not available to physically attend Blizzcon, virtual tickets will be available for those interested in viewing “comprehensive live coverage” via a multi-channel stream. No further details were given, but expect more soon.

Aside from the brilliant cosplay, gaming and all other things Blizzard has to offer, attendees will also see the first ever showcase of the StarCraft II World Championship Title match, where one world champion will emerge.

Blizzcon is slated for November 8th and 9th at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. Don’t think about it, be about it.
