BlizzCon returns to Anaheim for 2013

It's back! Today, Blizzard Entertainment announced that BlizzCon would return to Anaheim, California this November 8th and 9th, 2013. It will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center.

BlizzCon is a two day convention of all things Starcraft, Diablo, and Warcraft. Attendees will be able to have hands on play time with the latest Blizzard games, partake in discussion panels, and contests, among many other things.

However, BlizzCon is not an easy convention to get your foot in the door. These tickets always sell out fast. The last BlizzCon sold out in seconds. There are no tickets up for sale yet, but the best way to keep up to date is by following Blizzard Entertainment news or check back on their website here.

The last BlizzCon was in 2011 when it featured the latest World of Warcraft expansion, Mists of Pandaria.

Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment states in a press release:

“BlizzCon gives us a chance to connect with our players and share our latest projects in a very personal way Members from all of our gaming communities have helped make this event bigger and better every time, and we look forward to meeting up and celebrating with them in November.”

Personally my favorite part of BlizzCon as an outsider is seeing all the elaborate costumes people come up with. Here's a gallery of some of the costumes from BlizzCon 2011 via Battle.net
