Blizzard Entertainment opened up the gates for BlizzCon 2013 virtual tickets on Thursday while also announcing bonus loot for World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Diablo III, and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.
The BlizzCon 2013 virtual ticket costs $39.99 and grants purchasers access to livestreams of the two-day gaming convention that starts on Friday, Nov. 9. Meanwhile, DirecTV users can watch the convention as a PPV broadcast for $49.99.
Those that can't attend the event in person will be able to watch developer panels, interviews and other exclusive content plus contests and the always epic closing ceremonies.The English language broadcast will also be available to watch via on-demand replays for ticket purchasers.
In-game loot for World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Diablo III, and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will also be given away to those that purchase a virtual ticket with Blizzard to announce details on what each game will receive soon.
Those not interested in purchasing the virtual ticket will still be able to watch the BlizzCon opening ceremony and all of the eSports tournaments during the convention for free via www.blizzcon.com and the official WCS website.
