Update 4/10/14: Rescued by Leave No Paws Behind, Inc.!

On March 31, a senior Miniature Pinscher was surrendered to the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control facility in Baldwin Park, Calif.

The 12-year-old dog, named "Snoopy," is reported to be blind.

Snoopy is undoubtedly confused and terrified over his abrupt change of life circumstance...under the best of circumstances, animal control facilities are stressful and frightening for any dog, much less, a senior dog with a sight impairment.

The reasons for Snoopy's surrender to the animal control facility are unknown...what is known is that he is in need of a helping hand to leave.
