Blick Art Materials was again faithful to its local artists by participating and supporting another local South Bay event. It tool place in the middle of Chula Vista from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening. The San Diego State University's LoCal Arts Collaborative put on an event for the arts. heART on Center was the name attached to this event, which highlighted both the musical and the visual arts.
Blick Art Material together with, "The Art Kids of San Diego County had a booth at the event showing various mediums of art and handing out samples of products available at their Little Italy and College stores. Greg Pita, General Manager of the Little Italy location provided the samples for this event.
Howard Woodward, Founder and Director of, "The Art Kids of San Diego County," stated that Blick Art Materials is the artists' best friend. It is my candy store and I spend houts there seeing what is new and what I can purchase for my art kids.
