So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. ~ Isaiah 55-11 (KJV)
Assurance is defined as the act or action of assuring; as a pledge, guarantee[1]. It also means something that inspires or tends to inspire confidence. It is something that we all want and we seek after. There is nothing more comforting and secure than knowing that you have a guarantee or a promise that will be fulfilled. We don’t want broken promises, but we want people in our lives that say what they mean and mean what they say. With God we have that blessed assurance. We can rest assure that He will be a dependable source in our life.
