September 30th is International Blasphemy Day. Atheists and anyone else who supports freedom of speech and the right to satire are encouraged to be blasphemous. The day was chosen in 2009 by the Center For Inquiry because it was on this date in 2005 that satirical cartoons of the Muslim prophet Mohammad were published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.
In the spirit of International Blasphemy Day, I thought it would be fun to post some of the sexiest blasphemy images I found one the web… Okay, the non-pornographic sexiest blasphemy images I found on the web.
I tried to be an equal opportunity blasphemer. I even included one of famed atheist Richard Dawkins from South Park. However, some religion just take their blasphemy more seriously than others.
I decided to focus on the sexier side of blasphemy for a two reasons. First, sex sells and we are all having fun here. Second, western religious believers tend to really have a problem with sexuality. Nothing says blasphemy better than human sexuality. It is sad, but true.
