Blanket Jackson: he's British

Blanket Jackson may turn out to be British if the claimed sperm donor is to be believed.

A British man, Matt Fiddes, is claiming that he was the sperm donor for the birth of Michael Jackson's son, Blanket. Fiddes claims that he made a donation at about the time that the conception must have occured and that he refused payment for having done so.

MICHAEL Jackson's former British bodyguard Matt Fiddes will this week claim he is the biological father of the dead star's youngest son Blanket.

Fiddes, of Barnstaple, Devon, will tell Australian TV he fathered the eight-year-old by sperm donation for nothing - turning down a £500,000 offer from the superstar. He has told pals he will fight for custody if anything happens to Jacko's mum Katherine.

On that fight for custody: that could be difficult. Firstly, Diana Ross was named in Jackon's will as the back up guardian if anythjing should happen to his mother. Further, assuming that they bothered with the relevant paperwork, as a sperm donor he would have given up his parental rights.

I think this guy is an idiot. You are absolutely right, if this was a sperm donation, he would have had to sign over any parental rights, regardless of monetary compensation. it sounds like he's only coming forward now for the attention.
