MODE of Cosmic Therapy through Art
Life is a continued series of cycles. Everything you do or say is refurbished. A continuous ‘merry go round’ of episodes, same theme, different faces appear again and again. These are the familiar characters, you have written into your personal script of life. You are not separate from the people and events that surround you. Nor are you above or below any of them. Your present level of consciousness will mirror back to you the true state in which your motivations reside. Difficulty arises when you try to conceal your motivations. You end up blaming another for your prickly unrest. No one has harmed you in any way nor has he/she damaged your feelings. Feelings are capricious and need to be exposed. No one has cheated, offended, abandoned, abused, neglected, or impaired you in any real manner. Genuine truth may be expressed as pain temporarily but it never cripples your soul. As long as you continue to deny this instinctive reality, you will prolong the experience of being bitter, resentful, remorseful and quick to judge. If you continue to believe that someone has cheated you out of something or denied you something that you feel you deserve, your health will surely suffer from it. Recognize the blank canvas waiting to be used by you, to construct what you will.
All things happen exactly as they do for reasons you cannot see. Pain is the surest way of reflecting to you how you are out of sync with your purpose. You are living in a state of denial and repressed anger. Whether or not the anger is visually expressed at times does not matter. The debilitating results are the same. Now is the time for you to forgive. Let go of the idea that anyone at any time has wronged you. Everything that has ever occurred to you has served to make you the person you are today. Call it your ‘training ground’, if you want to. You need to learn to appreciate the pain in your life. No clearer mirror is given to reflect your innermost character. You were born with the seed of Divinity that will grow, develop and mature according to the deepest parts of your being. Pain is a vital part of the evolving process, as with the metamorphosis associated in the butterfly’s ascent. Your individual expression of God will be reflected in the painful things you live through. Any lingering negative attitude that you harbor and exhibit is linked to your unwillingness to evolve and resolve. When you finally realize that it is impossible to be cheated, abused, abandoned or rejected, then and only then will you discovery true mastery. You will never be able to control the actions, thoughts, and behaviors of another. But, by the release and redefinition of your own malicious intent, coupled with your self-indulged need to control and manipulate the situation will you be freed of the ambiguity you express. It’s all a matter of clearing the table away of its dirty dishes.
Look squarely into the face of your personal life being reflected back at you through the faces of others involved with you. Is there bitterness? Do you see selfishness, conceit, betrayal, flattery, and indecision lurking at every corner? Grab hold of the horns of complicated deception and wrestle with them until you are freed from its unnatural possession. Stop hiding behind the role of victim or martyr. How devastatingly tiring and useless are your actions to be seen as “good” reliable, trustworthy and caring. You are concerned about nothing except how to survive and succeed. Because you feel you are under constant threat, you put up a false front of adulation. There is no need to continue with that senseless charade. Free the other from the bonds of being grateful to you. Then, and only then can you free yourself? The walls of prison automatically crumble when you set the other free from any sense of obligation, responsibility or duty on your behalf. What have you ever done for another that you freely didn’t want to do? Face it. Do you really call what you are engaged in LOVE? HA! It is mere bondage. No more, no less. Look once more into the mirror and see if you are happy or more importantly: is the other one in your life exemplifying a state of contentment? Therein lies the true disclosure of your artistic purpose. Sing a new song. Paint the picture of Rapture’s Repose. Damn it, stop just hanging around. Do something blatantly constructive.
