Blake Shelton is a tough judge on The Voice. Plus the star has a steady following of followers the country music star has an edge, but it’s doubtful anyone would object to him. Well, technically anyone who has common sense. The Westboro Baptist has thrown the first stone on Wednesday letting the star know they are going to picket at his concert in Kansas City in October 3.
“We know BS when we see it!” tweeted the Westboro Baptist from their official Twitter account. The posting included a very nasty graphic that listed problems they have with Blake Shelton.
The folks at Westboro Baptist probably didn't seen the latest episode of The Voice as Blake Shelton doesn't take kindly to threats and he has a great sense of humor. Instead of ignoring the hate, the entertainer hit it straight on.
“Hey WBC.. I've got one more sin for ya... Blow me,” tweeted Blake Shelton from his official Twitter account in response on Wednesday. The threat of a picket at his concert was immediately neutralized as he made it clear the WBC wasn't welcome.
The Westboro Baptist Church group really needs to find a different star to hassle. Blake Shelton isn't going to tolerate the group harassing his fans. More importantly his fans aren't going to tolerate the hate the group spews.
