Blake Shelton takes over the top spot on the Country Chart

After having his hit “Doin’ What She Likes” jumped by Dierks Bentley’s “I Hold On”, Blake Shelton regains the momentum and takes over the Number One spot this week on the Country Radio Chart. According to Mediabase data provided to All Access, Shelton’s smash gained 4.843 million impressions over the previous tracking period to accumulate an impressive 72.126 million impressions between March 23 and March 29. Randy Houser (at number two) and Jerrod Niemann (at number three) also make gains, while Dierks Bentley gets pushed back to fourth place for the week.

A note from the reporter about this week’s chart

This list gives the Top 50 Country Songs, according to Mediabase and All Access, for the week of March 23 to March 29. Note: Due to current software limitations I am working to overcome, I am only including this week’s position, the artist, the title, and total impressions (in millions) for the week, with a “+” if impressions increased, and a “—“ if impressions decreased.

The way everything appeared last week, despite the best of my abilities, looked confusing and hard to comprehend. Once I can fix this issue, I will provide all of the data I had before to show how the songs are trending from week to week, and how long the songs have been on the chart. For further chart details, please visit the All Access website.
