Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert are fighting break up rumors with humor, according to a March 18 E! News report.
Making fun of those pesky break up rumors that swirl around celebrityville, “The Voice” coach tweeted this week, “Hey @mirandalambert... I just read in a tabloid that our marriage is falling apart!!!” And to emphasize his mock dismay, he added “FOCK!!!”
Not to be outdone, Lambert tapped into her funny bone and responded, “Oh no! Can't wait to read if we make it or not.”
Shelton replied with his hearty “Ba! Ha! Ha!,” while Lambert sealed the couple’s devotion and eased their fans’ fears with news that they were lying in bed together – in typical Lambert fashion. “@blakeshelton why are we tweeting each other when we are literally laying an inch apartWait…don't answer that…..:) #keepitclean.”
The breakup rumors stem from a tabloid magazine report that Shelton is playing musical beds with a 23-year-artist, according to Us Weekly. Fans of this country music superstar duo are hoping their marriage stays intact. The newlyweds are not strangers to relationship rumors, after recently fighting off rumors that they were expecting a baby.
