Choosing to go all Royal-esqe for their wedding jewelry, "The Voice" Blake Shelton and his songbird Miranda Lambert "House That Built Me" showed up even the recently married Royals Prince William and Catherine, his Duchess of Cambridge when it came to Crown Jewels.
It took San Antonion jeweler Johnathon Arndt two months to create the wedding band Miranda would slip on Blake's finger for their big day in Texas. The wedding band, based on one of Blake's tatoos, boasts a black diamond on the inside of the ring, but that's nothing compared to what he gave his sweetie.
Miranda, being Blake's beautiful bride -- and doing the deed in Texas -- stuck to the overall longhorn state's mantra: bigger is definitely better.
This "House That Built Me" singing sensation and country music's darling came walking down the aisle wearing a 30-carat necklace that hung in three-tiers and cost a whopping $1.2 million. The country crooner had matching earrings to boot.
Miranda Lambert's wedding band was a show stopper as well, hitting the 5-carat mark for her white diamond "Eternity" ring, which happened to be crafted to match that engagement ring Blake put on her hand earlier.
During the days leading up to the May wedding, Miranda Lambert had talked about the Royals' wedding and her desire to make her wedding royal as well. She chose to not to be like Kate, however, as Kate Middleton wore jewels on her head instead of her neck.
Blake and Miranda's fan base in Georgia think "The Voice" and his beautiful bride are royal just like they are, no titles needed, despite the ones country music lovers have bestowed upon them. But Johnathon Arndt's jewelry creations made Miranda Lambert the reigning royal in America this year anyway--as far as weddings go. And who would have expected any less, since Arndt is credited with being the jeweler behind Carrie Underwood's engagement and wedding rings too.
