Blake Shelton defends his marriage to Miranda Lambert in an interview with Today's Carson Daly. The segment aired Monday with his fellow judge cast members from "The Voice." He spoke out about the tabloids and the rumors he claims are false regarding his marriage.
On April 21, Today recounted what he said:
"I would take this opportunity to say, to clear the air. You might pick up a magazine or a tabloid any day of the week that'll say something about my relationship with Miranda, that it's in turmoil. ... And the truth is, I've never felt a stronger bond with ... not only with her but with any other human being in my life. ... Miranda and I — she's my life."
An "insider" told OK! magazine that "friends" of the couple think it's over for Blake and Miranda. The source claims Miranda gave her husband "an ultimatum to shape up or ship out." In addition to that, she told Blake she wants a baby, but doesn't want one with him until he "cleans up his act."
Shelton reportedly was heavily drinking and things got a bit out-of-hand. The OK! insider said Lambert is also tired of him "humiliating" her and is more than ready for him to "grow up."
MStarz reports the country star couple are laughing at the rumors.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert defend their marriage by posting comments on Twitter about the latest reports. Shelton joked that he hopes he gets "all the liquor in the divorce!!!" They also think it's funny it appears every six months that they're separating or having a baby every three months.
