Blake Shelton defends his marriage to Miranda Lambert after several rumors that the pair were on the verge of a split surfaced. According to Today.com, Shelton and Lambert are doing just fine and the couple don't have any plans on calling it quits. In fact, "The Voice" coach says that he and his wife have never been stronger together.
"I would take this opportunity to say, to clear the air. You might pick up a magazine or a tabloid any day of the week that'll say something about my relationship with Miranda, that it's in turmoil. ... And the truth is, I've never felt a stronger bond with ... not only with her but with any other human being in my life. ... Miranda and I — she's my life," Shelton said during an interview with Carson Daly earlier today.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's marriage needs defending, evidently, because it really does seem that there is a new rumor popping up every other week. Some rumors question whether the couple is still together while there are sometime simultaneous rumors about Lambert being pregnant. It seems as though the tabloids can't leave well enough alone and that's very common in Hollywood.
Shelton and Lambert have been married since 2011. Rumors about their marriage being on the rocks have surfaced more recently -- likely since Shelton is in the public eye more often thanks to his gig on "The Voice."
When Blake Shelton defends his marriage to Miranda Lambert without even being asked obviously means that he wants his fans to know that he and his wife are doing just fine. And that's great to hear.
