Blake Shelton is doing a great job as the coach on "The Voice," but he is ready to get back to his day job of touring as a country music singer. On March 17, Taste of Country reported that Blake is ready to be back on the road.
He says that as soon as he gets a break from "The Voice" then he will be back on the road and setting up tour dates. He enjoys doing concerts and fans know that country music is his first career. Blake even has a new album coming out this month so he is obviously still making music.
Blake did appear on "Malibu Country" and had a Christmas special, but music is his first love. He doesn't see himself become an actor. Honestly his fans would be upset if he stopped making music and started acting instead. They love watching him perform and it is what he does best.
