Blake Shelton is featured on ‘2014 GRAMMY Nominees’ album

Blake Shelton joins a list of GRAMMY nominated artists and songwriters on the “2014 GRAMMY Nominees” album. Shelton’s website spread the news that his hit single “Mine Would Be You” will be featured on the album that includes 18 songs from various artists. The album is set to be released on Jan. 21, 2014.

Shelton earned his spot on the album by being nominated in the Best Country Album category for the 2014 GRAMMY Awards taking place on Jan. 26, 2014. Other country stars claiming a spot on the album include Taylor Swift with her single “Begin Again,” Kacey Musgraves "Merry Go ‘Round,” Tim McGraw featuring Taylor Swift and Keith Urban "Highway Don’t Care” and Jason Aldean’s hit "Take A Little Ride.”

Swift is nominated in the Album of The Year and Best Country Album categories. Swift will be competing against Shelton, McGraw and Aldean who are in the running for Best Country Album along with Musgraves who also earned a nomination in the Best New Artist category for the “The 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards” that will be taking place on Jan. 26, 2014 live on CBS beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST.
